Course Description:

This 4-hour course will highlight relevant and new research associated with domestic violence and divorcing families and integrate an understanding of new and relevant case and statutory laws in California.

This workshop is designed to meet the requirements of California Rule of Court 5.225 (E) 3, 9, & 21 and Rule of Court 5.230.

Objectives: Completion of the 4-hour course will enhance your ability to:

• New domestic violence research
• Differentiate between fact/percipient, expert and treating expert witnesses
• New domestic violence statutory and case laws
• Evaluation strategies with domestic violence families
