Course Description
In this workshop, Dr Paulsen offers very practical strategies and tactics for helping clients of therapists and coaches to manage their life and their time. She offers several means to help clients clarify their values and priorities, develop projects to address those values and priorities, and devise task lists to accomplish those projects.
EMDR is relevant not only for brainstorming and associative linkages, but also for performance enhancement (Foster & Lendl, 1996; Foster, Lendl and Paulsen, 2000). The performance enhancement approach comes from sports psychology but has been extended into many performance domains to address both skills deficits and negative self-talk or distractions. The workshop is punctuated with case material from clients and the speaker’s own experience.
